Pork flavored with garlic, rosemary and fennel, then wrapped in pork belly and then slow roasted on a pit until it’s perfectly crisp on the outside yet moist and tender inside. Known for its namesake, there’s no surprise or question of what to order at this place. Inside you’re greeted by two golden rolls of heavenly delight in the display window. Skip the sandwich and dive into a plate piled high with tender and moist porchetta, perfectly poached vegetables and decent beans.

Hungry? Get the potatoes with crisp pork ends. Not hungry? Just get them damn potatoes! These puppies are cooked with oil dripped from the pork and mixed with what essentially is tasty porkbelly bacon, you’ll never look at spuds in the same way again. (I reserve the right to change judgment after trying duck fat fries…)

Wow, I would skip the potatoes entirely just to get more of that “sweet” looking pork in my stomach. And you’re friends with Taste Tests? Any friend of hers is a friend of mine!

Poooork + potatoes = ways to my heart. I know a place in SF with pork belly pizza! *arteries gurgled and clog up as I die happily* Thank you for being so good at taking pictures of glistening pork.
