When it comes to pizza, I’m a thin crust kinda guy. Actually, when it comes to anything…I tend to prefer thin… I digress. Thin is tough to do well because it’s hard to keep the sauce from soaking into the crust. I don’t know how Vezzo does it, but this is the thinnest crust I’ve even seen, and I absolutely love it.

Not only is the crust still crunchy when it gets to your table, the cheese is still perfectly melted, the toppings abundant and the sauce is kept to a perfect ratio. Hint, you have to Shroomtown pictured above. Not only is it topped with 3 types of thick juicy mushrooms, but it’s also drizzled with TRUFFLE oil!

Their lunch special comes with a kick ass house salad with an amazing creamy balsamic dressing, a personal pie and soda for cheap. Luckily, I work 15 feet away, any closer I’d be high on truffle oil.

That pizza looks delicious, and as far as your track record… I’m not sure you always go for ‘thin’…

Vezzo is part of the Gruppo, Posto and now Spunto thin crust pizza empire spanning from Vezzo down to Gruppo and west to the new Spunto. They’re taking over slowly.
