Roasted Duck
Yum. This duck was a bit fatty, but who doesn’t like duck fat! Stop lying, I know you’d pour it over rice and eat it…At least I would. The skin was super crispy and the meat was very tasty. For all you NYers, this is better than anything you can find in NYC chinatown.
Apparently this place isn’t new, it just moved a few months ago. The old location was small and dingy, now its in a spacious and impeccably clean two story building with sweeping ceilings. Only complaint was the poor lighting, the worst offense because it forced me to take these pictures at a speed of 1/3! That’s a nono without a tripod.

Fried Shrimp Wraps
Probably my favorite dish at the moment. Plump shrimp and fresh chives wrapped in an impossibly thin skin fried to a perfect crisp. You have to order this dish with a waiter because if it’s ever brought around on trays, it will disappear before it gets to your table.

Steamed Chives Buns
This used to be my favorite dim sum item. I love chives. They’re fragrant, tasty and uniquely textured. Plus, its a veggie, its good for you. Eat it. Anyways, come here for dim sum, especially the ones picture on this post. I don’t know what half of these are called in Chinese. If I were to go without my parents I’d probably print out this post and point. “Everything on here please. Oh, and hot sauce, red vinegar thanks. ”

Vegetarian Chicken
Here’s a very clean tasting dish which is refreshing at a dim sum restaurant where everything else has too much oil or msg. Filled with mushrooms and served cold, this makes for a wonderful appetizer.

Mango Shrimp Rolls
I think many of you will like this dish even more than the Fried Shrimp Rolls. If you like perfect compliment of salty and sweet in a fried roll, this is the dish. We all know by know that 1) I do not like sweets, ESPECIALLY with my meats and 2) I’m deathly allergic to mangos…

Chicken Feet
Ok, you can maybe pass on this dish. I got a picture so I’d decide to show it off since I know everyone is a chicken feet fetish.

Taro Buns
Direct translation of this dish is “Snow Mountain Buns.” GET IT. yes, i put that in all caps. This is one sweet I will scarf down. The bun is topped with the same stuff on those pinnapple buns you find at asian bakeries, the bun itself is soft, fluffy and moist, and the purple jewel of this dish is smooth, sweet and earthy. Delicious.

You should try this place next time. Doesn’t look like much from the outside (especially the crappy strip-mall location!), but it’s great:

That duck looks absolutely AMAZING! A clean Dim Sum place? Isn’t that an oxymoron? (Unless you’re talking about Yank Sing of course!) I haven’t had chicken feet since I was a kid but remember loving them!
